Martin Luther King STEAM Challenge | Black History Month STEAM | MLK Project |

Teach your students about Martin Luther King Jr. with this fun and interactive STEAM lesson. Students will watch educational videos, go through detailed slides with vocabulary words and definitions, go on virtual field trips to his home, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee, complete a writing activity, and finish with a STEAM activity. Students will make a podium for Martin Luther King Jr. to do his speeches from. Students can get creative and use different recyclable material to make their designs. Includes requirements and a rubric for the project.
