Number and Color Card Game with a Fall Theme

Are you teaching number and color recognition to your students? These cards provide a great resource to help reinforce the learning of both numbers and colors as well as number words and color words. These versatile playing cards have a fall theme and can be used a variety of ways: 1. Grab A Leaf: Play this like you would play go-fish. Students make matches based on colors and numbers. You will need two sets of the cards to play this so that each card has a match. 2. Stacking Leaves: How to play: Give each student 7 cards. Put the rest of the stack face down and turn over the first card. Students take turns placing matching or similar cards. For example, if the one purple leaf card is down then students can play either another purple card or another one card on top. If a student cannot play a card then they draw a card and it is the next students turn. 3. Matching Leaves: You must print out two copies of the cards for this game. Play like concentration. 4. Leaf War: Two students play together. Divide the cards equally among each player. Have each player turn over their top card. Whoever has the biggest number keeps both cards and places them on the bottom of their deck. If both cards are equal then they turn over the next two cards and the highest number wins all the cards. This set includes six different colors and all numbers 1-10 which allows for 60 unique card combinations which allows for more versatile playing experiences. This product is also available in the following bundle: Fall Themed Math and ELA Center Bundle for August to November Other Fall Themed Activities Include: ABC Leaf Centers Clip Cards 1-20 with Fall Leaves
