♥ 4 word-numeral matching dominoes (0-12; 0-20; "-teen" and "-ty" numbers; double-digit numbers)

♥ 2 dominoes for fast finishers - students need to solve a mathematical problem and then match the result with the correct numeral (0-12 and 0-20)

♥ 1 word-numeral matching trimino (double-digit numbers)

INSTRUCTIONS:

♦ DOMINO

  • students can work on their own or in pairs
  • each student / pair gets one bag with cut up domino tiles
  • they start with the START tile - students need to match the number word with the correct numeral, they continue until they get to the FINISH tile
  • more difficult version for fast finishers - they need to work out the mathematical problem and match the result with the correct numeral

♦ TRIMINO

  • students need to match the number words with the correct numerals
  • the resultant shape is that of a hexagon
  • you can turn it into a competition - the fastest student gets a reward
