This packet focuses on place value for 3 digit numbers. Task cards are available with a 3 digit number and students can build the number using colored hide zero cards or place the correct card that shows the numbers expanded form. There is also a place value matching or concentration game. These activities are perfect for small groups and centers.

In this product you will find:

Pages 2-11: These are 20 place value cards where students can build the number represented using the place value number cards or the expanded place value cards.

Pages: 12-17: Place Value Number Cards (Hide Zero Cards): Print each set in different colors to use to build the numbers from the place value cards. Pages 12-14 are to be one color, pages 15-16 a second color and page 17 needs to be a third color.

Pages 18: This page has plus and equal signs to be used to build the expanded forms of the numbers. (p.20-22)

Page 19: A recording sheet for the place value cards.

Pages 20-22: Place Value cards that can be used as task cards for students to use p.12-18 to build the expanded form or used with the following set of cards to create a matching or concentration game.

Pages: 23-25: Can be used as task cards to write the standard form of the number or used with the previous set of cards to create a matching or concentration game.

Pages 26-30: Expanded form cards to use with the cards on pages 2-11.
