Post Office Dramatic Play Center Pretend Play Printable for Preschool

This fun and engaging post office themed pretend play center encourages students to play imaginary roles of being postal workers. Students will engage in literacy, self-regulation, fine/gross motor skills, and social skills.

What is dramatic play?

It’s the kind of play where kids take on roles and act them out as a way of exploring themselves and their surroundings. By pretending to be someone—or something—else, children can learn new ways to express themselves, share thoughts and ideas, and even get in touch with their feelings.

Dramatic play is a very important part of childhood development. Students will engage in literacy, self-regulation, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and social skills. They will be interacting with one another in positive ways and learning so much without realizing it!

Here’s what you’ll get:

  • Post Office Sign
  • Post Office Hours
  • Post Office Prices
  • 2 Versions of Labels - Parcel, Postman, Envelope, Stamp, Delivery Truck, Post box, Mailbox, Scale
  • Priority Mail Label
  • Postal Receipt
  • Tracking Card
  • How to Post a Letter
  • Blank Post Cards

All of the hard work is done for you. Simply print and cut out the LOW PREP pages and laminate them for use year after year.

Optionally you can add hard goods to make it more interactive. For example, most post offices will give you free shipping boxes and unlabeled shipping labels. You can find stickers that say "Thank you for your purchase" on Amazon. Amazon also has many post office toys such as a mail truck and mailman costumes.
