Introducing a particularly peculiar way to practice and in a practical way...with PICKLES!

Yes - as in PRACTICE PICKLES! What are Practice Pickles you might ask?

Practice Pickles are a tool for students to practice their instrument at home using a repetition method.

So how does it work? Once you create a set of pickles for your students, they take them home and place them in their practice area. For each section of music or song they practice, they move a designated number of pickles from one side of their practice area to another.

As an example, you send a student home a packet of Practice Pickles, and they will place them on the left side of the piano. You tell them to move a pickle over to the right side of the piano each time they practice measures 1-8 of a song, and you want them to move 5 pickles. This means they would practice measures 1-8 5 times! You then also want them to practice some one-octave scales one time, so they move a pickle for each scale they practice.

That's how fun and easy the Practice Pickles work!

But that's not all that's in this resource. Aside from the pickles themselves, you also have a student/parent page you send home with the student with instructions on using their Practice Pickles, a teacher page with instructions and assembly instructions, AND a whole host of different assignment sheets and practice trackers including:

• Generic assignment sheets with a 5-line staff, and 7 pickles to color in for each day the student practices.
• Piano assignment sheets with 5-line staff, and 4-octave keyboard, and 7 pickles to color in for each day the student practices.
• Guitar assignment sheets with 5 line staff, 6 line TAB, and 5 chord boxes, and 7 pickles to color in for each day the student practices.
• Ukulele assignment sheets with 5 line staff, 4 line TAB, and 5 chord boxes, and 7 pickles to color in for each day the student practices.
• Three Pages of 100 pickles to color (one page each for Daily Practicing, Time-based Practicing, and page completion.) 
• Three Pages of 50 pickles to color (one page each for Daily Practicing, Time-based Practicing, and page completion.) 
• Three Pages of 30 pickles to color (one page each for Daily Practicing, Time-based Practicing, and page completion.)

Each of the assignment sheets above has two sheets in the resource for you to easily print front to back if need be.
