Pre-AP Spanish Bachata Reading & Comprehension Questions

Teaching Pre-AP Spanish students?  Spark interest in reading by using a topic they love-Music!  This Intermediate-Mid level reading about Bachata is a great way to scaffold reading to help prepare students for AP Spanish.  This 2-page nonfiction article about the origins and history of Bachata comes with 8 comprehension questions.  Some mimic AP Spanish Exam style questions and others check for basic comprehension.  There are 2 open-ended questions to help students think deeply and make connections to other things they know. 

In addition, the teacher instructions give ideas for how to help students do well on difficult questions.  There are also ideas for how to use this as a traditional reading assignment or as a more interactive assignment!
