Challenging:

My students find open ended assignments challenging, I love that! These questions have students finding everyday words that contain requested ratios. By including language into math the students are challenged on an additional level.

There is no one right answer to these questions which helps students to approach math in a new way. Including language to the challenge shows students that everything we do relates to everything else.
