This fun exercise helps students become very good at plotting points on the coordinate plane. The exercise combines a love middle school students have for drawing with an essential mathematical skill.

Students learn to write down the coordinates of simple drawings accurately. They also learn to plot the coordinates of their friends accurately onto the coordinate plane.
