Rhythm vs. Steady Beat Lesson Using Quiet as a Mouse

Discuss what being quiet means while teaching the difference between rhythm and steady beat! Use a puppet or move the puppet that comes with the book to talk like the main character. Use the beat and rhythm chart to show differences between the two as well as introduce the quarter note rest. Adaptable for grades PreK-2nd grade. Feel free to use in combination with "Suki the Loud Bunny" (see my other listings) or another lesson on loud volume of your own choosing.
