Your students will love creating words by rolling three dice and placing on the windows of a cute school bus. They will record their real and nonsense words on kid friendly lined paper. I have also included an extra sheet for early finishers to put the real words they made into sentences.

You will receive four colored school bus mats. (yellow, red, blue, green) Print whichever mats you choose.

You will also receive dice you can easily assemble. One has just vowels written with red letters and the others have consonants or consonant blends.

Two recording sheets.

Use this activity at different times of the year to accomodate the needs of your students. You may be working on CvC words or CCVC words at different times of the year, or you can use it to help out some students who are having trouble with a certain skill.

This is a great activity to use during Literacty Center Time or RTI.
