Are you looking for a fun science experiment to do this summer? Students will discover what melts in the sun in this simple experiment in which items are placed on a muffin tin or cookie sheet and placed in the sun. Students will record their predictions and results on recording sheets and discuss their findings. Students will design and build a model of a structure that will reduce the warming effect of sunlight on an area. A recording sheet for students to draw their structure and tell about it is included.
A "Facts About the Sun" handout is included which is loaded with information about the sun. You will receive an easy art activity to show the rotation of the earth around the sun. Extremely satisfied ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our students love to do experiments so we used this we our Weather theme. We used this when it was our week to learn about the Sun. They loved placing all of the items outside and waiting to see the outcome of all the items.
