I know you've heard of a Spelling Bee, but have you heard of a Math Bee? My students LOVE participating in the yearly Math Bee at the end of the school year.

How does it work?

Begin with Round 1. All students receiving 8/10 or higher will move on to Round 2. This continues until Round 6. Each round will gradually increase with difficulty. By the time students reach Round 6 they are actually performing at a Level 3 difficulty. Once you are down to 3 finalists, average their scores from all rounds completed. (You may not need all 6 rounds.) If there is not a clear winner by the end of Level 6, move on to the Tiebreaker Round.

What about awards?

I purchase medals to give out to the top three places, and ribbons for the top ten.

Yes, a score sheet is included with instructions at the top.
