The main aim is to get children thinking and talking. These silly scene pictures are open-ended, and children can look at the picture and identify what’s silly in them.

Instructions:

  1. Print out these Silly Scene pictures. One per sheet or up to 4 per sheet.
  2. Ask the child, “What’s wrong with this picture?”
  3. Invite the child to identify what’s silly about the picture and how we could change it to make it better.
  4. You may choose to work with an individual child or in a small group.
