Simple Mother’s Day Craftivities
These simple fine motor crafts are a great way to incorporate a fun Mother's Day project in the classroom. An adorable keepsake for students to take home to Mom, Grandma, Auntie, or someone else who is important in their lives.. Includes templates with Mom, Grandma, and blank.
Option 1: Flower Pot. Color, cut, and glue 3 pieces together to make a flower. You can have students print one word or phrase on each petal on what is special about their mom. There are Grandma and Aunt options as well as a blank template to personalize.
Option 2: Color the flower in a flowerpot to make a card. Students can write about what makes their mom great (or any other writing prompt) on the provided writing lines on the flower pot.
Option 3: Cupcake. Students color, cut, and paste 2 pieces to make a cupcake or color the pre-made cupcake to make a card.
Option 4: Rocket. Students can color, cut, and paste 4 pieces to make a rocket or color the pre-made rocket to make a card.
Option 5: Tear or snip paper, or roll tissue paper to glue on heart
