• **nouns ending in –s, –ss, –sh, –ch, –x, or –**z

glass - glasses, bus - buses, house - houses, watch - watches, fox - foxes, toothbrush - toothbrushes, witch - witches, box - boxes

• nouns ending in -f / -fe that change to -ve + s in plural

leaf - leaves, knife - knives, elf - elves, wolf - wolves

• nouns ending in consonant + -y

baby - babies, cherry - cherries, fly - flies

• nouns ending in consonant and -o

tomato - tomatoes, potato - potatoes X piano - pianos

• nouns that don't change in plural
