In this partner dice game on solving linear inequalities and graphing on a number line, students are going to be creating and solving their own linear inequalities. This interactive game is sure to get your students engaged and keep them wanting more! My students always ask if we can play more ROLL A PROBLEM games!
Topics Included:
- One and two step linear inequalities
- Graphing solutions on a number line
- Open and closed circle practice
- whole number and fractional answer solutions
How it works:
Each pair gets a game board and a dice (or use the template that comes with this product)
They will each get a workspace page to keep track of the problems they are creating and solving (workspace pages have blank number lines already in the boxes)
Students will roll the dice 3 times to create the inequality they are solving
Why is the is awesome!?
- it's a great review for solving linear inequalities and graphing them on a number line
- you can play this game for any length of time! You can say "complete X rounds" or "play for 20 minutes".
- they have to check their answers with their partners before they move on so it encourages math conversation and independence!
What you get:
- 1 GameBoard
- Workspace page (print more than 1 if your students will be solving more than 6 questions)
- Easy to understand direction cards to give each pair
- dice template
