This fun and engaging taco stand themed pretend play center encourages students to play imaginary roles of operating a taco stand. Students will engage in literacy, self-regulation, fine/gross motor skills, and social skills.

What is dramatic play?

It’s the kind of play where kids take on roles and act them out as a way of exploring themselves and their surroundings. By pretending to be someone—or something—else, children can learn new ways to express themselves, share thoughts and ideas, and even get in touch with their feelings.

Dramatic play is a very important part of childhood development. Students will engage in literacy, self-regulation, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and social skills. They will be interacting with one another in positive ways and learning so much without realizing it!

All of the hard work is done for you. Simply print and cut out the LOW PREP pages and laminate them for use year after year.

Optionally you can add hard goods to make it more interactive. For example, fake food, take-home bowls (I like to order the red and white checkered bowls like you would find at a food truck), and aprons.
