This product utilizes the Talk, Read, Talk, Write teaching strategy to get students talking, reading, and writing about The Civil War. There are 4 parts to this lesson. Students will first talk in partners or groups about a topic related to The Civil War. Students will then read 3 paragraphs about The Civil War and answers some questions. Students will then discuss a question related to The Civil War. Finally, students will reflect and write on a topic related to The Civil War.
