The Coconut Dance is a groovy piano solo for the late beginner in the C Major position. The song is a ternary form, so once the students learn the first 8 measures of the song, they can play the last 8 measures of the song.
The lyrics of the song in the B section starting at measure 9 are instructions for a dance. To be frank, I made up these lyrics and it would be fun for you and your kiddos to try it out just to see how it goes!
