• Vocab Match Up: In the third task, students fill in the blanks with vocabulary words from the story.
• There Will Come Soft Rains: In the fourth task, students will perform a close reading of Sara Teasdale's There Will Come Soft Rains in order to gain an understanding of the connection between the poem and the story.
• Jig Saw Quote: In the fifth and final task, students must complete a jig saw puzzle that reveals a quote that connects to a major theme within the tale. Once they figure it out and bring it to you, students escape the classroom!
