Just like a wrinkled heart represents your emotional scars, this lesson encourages you to think about how our speech and actions impact our feelings and those of others.

In this lesson, you will be given a paper heart cutout. This heart represents your emotional state. At this beginning of the activity, your heart will be smooth and vibrant. During this activity students will explore various scenarios and with each one, you will experience the impact of unkind words and actions on your “heart”.

The “Wrinkled Heart” lesson aims to increase your awareness of the effects of unkindness and encourage empathy and kindness towards yourself and others. Remember that you have the power to make choices that promote emotional well-being and create a positive impact on those around you.
