Celebrate St. Nicholas Day (the 6th December) with these low prep activities. Great as a lesson starter, ideal for pre-teaching vocabulary.

Contains:

• 1 trimino puzzle - it teached 12 St. Nicholas Day related vocabulary
• 1 crossword - key is included

How to use Trimino puzzle:

Simply print out and cut up the puzzle pieces and let your pupils put them back together. Students need to match the word with the correct picture. The resultant shape is that of a star.

Print out a few puzzles and turn it into a competition. Whoever resolves the puzzle first, wins. It can be also played in teams.
