St. Patricks Day Mixed Money Math Life Skills PLUS Task Cards 3 Levels
By YourTeachingDoc
Do your students need additional support identifying money, matching dollar amounts to currency and make purchases using the "next dollar up" method? Mastering functional money skills is indeed essential for daily living, and it's important to provide support and reinforcement for these skills. St. Patrick's Day Counting Money Unit reinforces and progresses these skills for students who struggle with counting and identifying money. beginning with matching dollar to dollar, progressing on to matching prices with dollars, then using the next dollar up method to make a purchase. The currency is in US dollars from $1 to $10. There are 3 levels of learning with 10 cards per level! Additionally, the use of real US dollars in the unit can help individuals connect these skills to real-world situations and foster greater financial literacy.
This is an excellent resource for Middle or High School students with IEP Math or Money Goals, Transition to Work Students, or Elem students learning money skills. It is a great addition to any math/ supported employment program or math center. These activities can also support Transition Plans!
This interactive counting money math unit works great for virtual learning, whole group learning, small group learning, as well as for homework.
