Respect and Boundaries Workbook for Middle School | No prep Worksheets |

By Elena Tenisi

Boundaries workbook geared towards upper middle school students. Students are first introduced to what a boundary is, are shown four different types, and are given guidelines as to how they can respect others boundaries.

Students are then provided with six different activities. Activities include:

1. A boundaries sort. Students will be provided with different scenarios. They’ll have to distinguish if a boundary is being crossed or respected.

2. Self reflection. Students will have to evaluate which boundary they struggle with the most, challenges they’ve faced when trying to follow others boundaries, and who they struggle setting boundaries with the most.

3. Responses sort. Students will be provided with different ways they can respond to after they’ve crossed a boundary. They’ll have to differentiate between responses that show their apologetic and responses that show their being manipulative and insensitive.

4. Boundaries circle. Students will get to map what they are comfortable with depending on who they’re with; family, friends, teachers, strangers, etc.

5. Self-reflection on what they’ll allow and won’t, depending on their comfort level.

6. Reflection on what they’ve learned and why boundaries are important.

Workbook ends with a boundaries pledge. Students are asked to sign if they can commit to setting and keeping others boundaries. This can be a great workbook to use in small groups or individual students who need to work on boundaries.

Resources comes in colored and black/white versions. No prep, just print and go!
