Social stories can be useful for any child who is struggling to understand a situation or concept or needs help to understand a social skill or social cue, expectations, perspectives, common responses or is troubled about an upcoming event but social stories are particularly useful for children on the autistic spectrum for whom social cues can be challenging and who often suffer anxiety if they do not know what to expect from a situation.

These books should be used over and over to reinforce the point so I would suggest either putting the pages into a display book or laminating and binding them.

All editable templates are in PowerPoint form. You will download files in flattened and secured PowerPoint file format. This format will allow text changes and editing font colors, etc. Graphics, clipart and photos may be inserted for personal use. You can change the font to whatever you prefer or already use in your class - I know I have favorites! The fonts are embedded and links provided if you want to use them for personal use in other projects. Included is a guide to change all the font with just a click or two if you want to use your fav. one.

The Farmyard Decor items are designed to fit on 8.5" x 11" paper and can be reduced or enlarged at the time of printing if needed or can be printed 2 or 4 per page using your printer's settings. If A4 size is needed then you can adjust the template to fit A4 paper size at the time of printing by clicking FIT TO PAGE. Border-free printing will depend on your printer's capability and settings.
