Animal Classification Computer Activity and Posters
By Science and STEAM Team
This is a set of posters that covers 7 classifications of animals: amphibians, reptiles, insects, mammals, birds, fish, and spiders.
The first poster features one animal and a list of basic features that animals in that group have. The second poster shows several animals from that group and lists common animals found in that group. It also lists unusual animals in the group to stimulate student's thinking; especially if they are going to do report writing. There is a worksheet on which students can compare animal groups as well as a suggested video that they can watch to gather information from while filling out the worksheet.
