Racismo y Antirracismo Manualidad Autorretrato, Actividad de Reflexión
By Class Plus

Racism, Antiracism Craft, Self Portrait Skin Color Reflection Activity
By Class Plus
Help your students eliminate stereotypes, prejudices, and any form of racism. Through this activity, children will be encouraged to recognize that skin color is merely a physical characteristic. By imagining themselves with different skin colors and drawing pictures of themselves accordingly, they will understand that despite external differences, all individuals are unique and equally valuable.
This activity promotes the idea that there should be no room for injustice or discrimination based on skin color.
It is our responsibility to foster equality and promote antiracism from an early age.
This activity serves as an excellent addition to the Racism (Skin Color) Anti-Racism PowerPoint Presentation.
Instructions:
Ask your students to draw themselves in the first picture frame. In the subsequent frames, instruct them to draw themselves again, but with a different skin color or tone. Afterward, children should cut out each picture and staple them together to create a small book. Finally, encourage them to share their picture book and reflect on their emotions and thoughts while looking at themselves depicted in different skin colors or tones.
