By Science and STEAM Team
This engaging resource contains five informational reading passages about unusual birds, adaptations, their environment, life cycle, and more. The passages are written on three different reading levels. There is an engaging graphic organizer for students to fill out as they read.
The passages were written with third graders in mind, but the information is very interesting and complex and would be useful for upper grades as well. Even I learned things while researching! There is a tips sheet for teachers and a bird specific vocabulary sheet.
