World War I & World War II Mega Bundle | 5th Grade & 6th Grade | 60 Hours

A First World War & World War 2 mega bundle of activities featuring 22 close reading activities, 4 biography writing units, 4 informational writing units, 2 timeline activities and 1 opinion writing unit. These easy to use, no prep, resources are perfect for students in fifth grade or sixth grade.

Firstly, there are two timeline activities that make great classroom displays, and are also sorting activities that are perfect for introducing students to the key events of World War 1 and World War 2. In the two resources there are 72 posters or cards that include many of the key events from both wars.

Ancient Rome Mega Bundle of Activities | 5th Grade & 6th Grade

This bundle contains eight close reading activities about Ancient Rome and influential people from the era; a timeline display or sorting activity; two biography writing units about both Julius Caesar and Augustus; a discussion based writing activity about the greatest leader from the time; and an informational writing unit about Ancient Rome.

Firstly, there are eight close reading activities, or informational texts, about:

Secondly, there are two biography writing units about Julius Caesar and Augustus. The units have been split into four separate lessons which will take students approximately 40-50 minutes each.
Then, there is a great classroom display and sorting activity that is perfect for introducing students to some of the key events of Ancient Rome. There are 25 posters or cards that include many of the key events and periods from the founding of Rome to the end of the empire. The posters look great as a display in the classroom and the cards are a brilliant introduction to Ancient Rome. The displays and cards come both with dates and without dates, so the students can research the dates online before sorting the timeline. The cards look even better when laminated.
Then, there is an informational text writing unit about Ancient Rome. The unit focuses on key facts about the history of the ancient civilization that dated from the founding of the city of Rome in the 8th Century BC, until its downfall in the 5th Century AD. The unit has been split into three separate lessons which will take students approximately 40-50 minutes each.
Finally, there is a discussion based writing unit discussing who was the greatest leader from Ancient Rome. The unit has been split into four separate lessons which will take students approximately 40-50 minutes each.
