This product contains 4 Cinco de Mayo art projects with project samples and step-by-step instructions with photos plus so much more. These lessons are loosely based on the artwork of Jasper Johns. Also included is information on Cinco de Mayo, Hispanic Heritage Month, and artist Jasper Johns (1 page each).

I love these mixed media projects because any student can be successful - there is no "right way" to complete the mixed media projects. These lessons encourage student creativity, allow students to make choices in their artwork, and include connections to other disciplines (math, social studies, and literacy). A resource page is included with math and literacy connections.
