These 27 Easter BOOM Cards tell the true story of the events leading up to and following the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All reading portions are taken directly from the Bible (ESV) and contain full audio for your students or children. Many of the cards also contain interactive elements such as moving objects or answering questions. This is an errorless deck, meaning that students cannot get a wrong answer and can do this independently. (Although, I recommend doing it alongside of them, when possible, to help with any difficult words or ideas throughout the text.)

A class set of activities might take around 15-20 minutes to mark; the teacher can then send the students their marks automatically, which allows them to read back through their work. Nearly all answers are not automatically generated, but only require a small amount of work to assign points. This is because the aim is to get students writing answers and not to just have multiple choice options.

This product is a digital puzzle that requires students to complete 50 basic addition fact fluency problems. The link to the digital puzzle is on a clickable PDF that you would download once purchased. Students will put the answers in the answer box. This activity is no prep and is self checking. If the student puts the correct answer in, the answer box will turn green and a piece of the digital puzzle will appear in the green box to the right. In addition to this, an emoji pops up next to the correct answer. If the student puts in the wrong answer, the answer box will turn red and no puzzle piece will appear. Time allowance to complete:

5-10 minutes - read through the text individually.

40-50 minutes - answer questions using the text as guidance (including extension activity)

Time allowance to assess:

A class set of activities might take around 15-20 minutes to mark; the teacher can then send the students their marks automatically, which allows them to read back through their work. Nearly all answers are not automatically generated, but only require a small amount of work to assign points. This is because the aim is to get students writing answers and not to just have multiple choice options.

Please ensure when you download this resource into Google Drive that you are logged in to the gmail account where you wish to store the activity. In the past teachers have downloaded resources into their school account in error. Thanks :)

Students will practice order of operations while they look for the hidden message. As they correctly answer the questions the mystery message will be revealed. I used it as a sub-plan in sixth grade and the kids loved it, they were so engaged!
