Students will be given a list of Cartoon Characters to see how their characters are eliminated over a 10 day period during the Last Character Standing Games. They will be given a pair of dice that will be used to determine if the character moves on to the next day or if they are eliminated. A scrappy quilt uses a variety of different fabrics that may or may not use a consistent theme. In this new version of cut and paste, students will make a scrappy quilt using a variety of pattern blocks included in the activity. The students must complete a set of questions or activities to know what numbered pattern to use and where it should be placed on their quilt. Each quilt has its own color scheme (color chart) and those are the colors students will need to create a one-of-a-kind scrappy quilt. Each quilt comes with a header, and some have additional activities students must complete to finish their quilts. Each quilt once assembled with header is 11x14 inches (does not include the size if a quilt has an additional activity).

Easy way to practice fractions of a set & comparing fractions with students? Use this easy no prep digital activity! Designed for use with Google Slides.
Each student will need a small pack of either a fruity candy or chocolate candy. There are options for both google slides with the traditional colors of each in the paid download.
Students will drag and drop to show their set. They will then review the vocabulary numerator and denominator before creating fractions for each color of candy.
Alternately, you can also have students just create a set of "candies" using colors of their choice, without giving them any actual candy.
Students will also review the rules for comparing fractions with the same denominator. Students will drag and drop inequality symbols to compare the amounts of different colors of candies in their set.
The no prep digital Google Slides activity is embedded as a link that will create a new copy for you in your Google Drive. It can then be shared with students or posted on Google Classroom.
