"Kind or Trash" gives a fun new outlook on discussing kind vs unkind actions for younger elementary students. While the discussion is great, this activity also gets them up and moving and looking forward to their turn! This activity had my classes engaged through the entire lesson and it created great conversation as well! The basket and recycling bin is a great visual for students as they are recognizing kind vs unkind actions.

"Caught Ya Being Respectful" is a fun and engaging activity that not only gets students talking about being respectful and what that looks like, but it also encourages them to make connections of people (that they know and often admire!) that are showing respect around them as well! This activity includes everything needed for your next classroom lesson on respect, including two worksheets (Wanted Poster and Bonus Activity!) as well as different ideas that you can do with the finished products! My students LOVED this and it was fun for our teachers to see the outcome as well. We got a lot of learning and laughs out of this activity!

The Discussion Game! Students remember and discuss how they have handled emotional situations in the past. Game Rules: One at a time, students pick a card. They tell a story based on what color card they choose. If they chose: Yellow chameleon, they tell a story about a time they had joy, when they were happy. Blue chameleon, tell a story about a time they felt sad. Red chameleon, a time they were angry. Green chameleon, when they were disgusted. Orange chameleon, a time they were surprised. Purple, a time they were fearful. If they pick a chameleon with no color, they can tell a story about any emotion they desire. I hope your students love this! This is now part of a bundle! Leadership Superheroes - what will your super powers be? This activity was a blast and my students loved learning more about each superhero and creating fun ways that they could use their leadership powers to help in our school as well as in the different scenarios. Use it to decide which superhero may be the best fit for the job OR talk about how each superhero could be helpful per scenario using their own strengths! A follow up worksheet, reflection questions, and a take home craft included in download!

This "Think Before You Speak" activity puts a focus on taking time to reflect and think before speaking to others. In this interactive activity, students are put into teams, where they are helping one another guess a specific word while also avoiding the guess of another word.
