If you have a child grieving the loss of a pet or a child coping with pet bereavement, this memory book was designed with them in mind. This download includes a memory book that attempts to ease students' grief by helping them to remember the happiness their pet brought to their life.
Dealing with the death of a pet or the loss of a special friend can be very hard for our little ones; make it a bit easier with this Coping With the Loss of a Pet Memory Book.
This is the perfect quick prep, print-and-fold activity for students who come to school upset or still processing a death of a pet. Through the use of writing prompts and drawing activities, this resource allows the student to honor their pet's memory while working through their grief.

This creative and printable board game has been developed to provide a foundation to explore anger management.
“”Keep My Cool” is a growth mindset board game which is great for students who may need some additional support with dealing with their anger.
Using the analogy of an “ice-cream” students are asked to reflect on their behaviour how they can keep their cool. This game encourages reflection and psycho-education around anger management, impulse control, self-control, emotional regulation.
There are over 115 reflective question cards with 23 cards in each of the five various color-coded areas. These include:

Respect Activities for Building Your Classroom Community

Teasing & Bullying Prevention Julia Cook 'Tease Monster' Book Companion Activity

There is a difference between teasing that is meant to hurt feelings and teasing that is meant to be playful and fun. Teach about teasing and help students to differentiate between situations where teasing is meant in good fun, and where the teasing crosses the line and becomes hurtful, or even bullying, with these fun tease monster activities!
This fun bullying vs. teasing activity helps students to understand that not everyone reacts or feels the same way in each situation. Scenarios that would not hurt one person’s feelings, may hurt a classmate deeply. It is important for students to realize the impact their actions and words can have on others.
You’ll Recieve:
Use these materials to help students to define teasing, recognize what makes a tease friendly or mean, understand the difference between teasing vs. bullying, as well as realize how powerful their words can be.
This activity can be used as a book companion lesson for Tease Monsters by Julia Cook or can be used as a stand-alone activity. The purchase of Tease Monsters by Julia Cook is not necessary to utilize this resource.

Help teach elementary school students all about identifying feelings and emotions with this fun, interactive empathy lesson. Take the pressure off discussing a difficult topic with this sunglasses slider empathy activity in your elementary school counseling groups.
This empathy lesson is the perfect addition to your elementary school counseling curriculum if you are looking to focus on teaching empathy in a fun and engaging way!
In this elementary school counseling empathy lesson, students will target their understanding of feelings and emotions. Students choose a discussion card, identify the highlighted emotion by sliding the sunglasses up or down, and then discuss how the particular situation on their card would make them feel.
This activity is GREAT for small groups and will allow your students to identify emotions and discuss how they think others might feel in this situation as well.
The fun sunglasses sliders used in this activity make this discussion approachable and light, allowing everyone a chance to answer some deep and meaningful questions in a non-intimidating format.
