"Kind or Trash" gives a fun new outlook on discussing kind vs unkind actions for younger elementary students. While the discussion is great, this activity also gets them up and moving and looking forward to their turn! This activity had my classes engaged through the entire lesson and it created great conversation as well! The basket and recycling bin is a great visual for students as they are recognizing kind vs unkind actions.

This is a mat (2 pages) to sequence the 10 Plagues of Egypt in black & white (with grayscale background) in the order that God sent them. The cards with the plagues are placed on the spaces labeled 1 to 10. The cards can also be used to tell the story of the Ten Plagues or other games. Also, 2 copies of the cards could be printed and used to play memory match/concentration. The mat can be printed on card stock and laminated together or placed inside a file folder and laminated.

Don’t Eat Pete is a fun holiday game for kids of all ages to play with candy canes or other Christmas candy! Use any type of candy to put on each of the 8 spaces on the game board. One child is then sent out of the room while the others decide which space/Santa item is “Pete” and then the child returns to class to pick one snack at a time until they get to “Pete” and the kids yell out “Don’t Eat Pete!”. Play until each student gets a chance to play. There is 1 game board, 1 directions/cover, and 1 graphing worksheet.
