Use this banner to select a student weekly. I hang ribbon under the banner and clip the child's name to it. I also teach two sections so I actually hang two ribbons! The kids love seeing who will be selected each week! I try not to base the student of the week on grades and try to focus more on improvement shown, effort, etc. I give each child a small certificate that they can take home, and the best part is that they also get to visit the treasure chest! Hope you find it helpful in not only managing classroom behavior but also in improving student morale!

This is a Poster and Student Worksheet to be used while working in Minecraft Education!

If you've used Minecraft Education, then you're familiar with the NPC mods. If you haven't "played" before, a NPC is a guiding character within Minecraft Education. I require my students to document all of their interactions with NPCs while they are on mission in the different worlds. I have found this helps them focus on the task at hand and write down their solutions.

This product is a ZIP file that includes a 24x36 poster as a JPEG and as a PDF file, a studnet handout for documenting NPC interactions and a quick "Teacher Page" that details how I use these products.

Have students who are having issues making friends at recess? Do you see kids who want to be included but do not know how to make the first move? This friendship fence packet may be perfect for you! Included in this packet: Friendship Fence Sign Poem Poster Directions Poster Recess Pact Page Recess Ranger Tags It is so easy to create a friendship fence. Print the Friendship Fence sign, poem and directions, laminate and zip tie to a fence. Presto you now have your very own friendship fence! Students who do not have anyone to play with can now stand by the signs signaling to other students that they need a friend to play with. Kids will see them standing there and then will (hopefully) come up and ask them to join in on the fun. To ensure this happens, create a recess pact with your students that sets the expectation of inclusion. Also, give a leadership position to students called "recess rangers". They are in charge of watching the fence and including anyone standing near it. My students are having so much more fun at recess now that we have a friendship fence, your students will too! I used these signs as a bathroom management flip chart. I print the first sheet out on green (go) and the second sheet on red (wait). I punch holes at the top and put rings in the holes. Then I hang them on command hooks and place in a good visual spot in my classroom for everyone to see at all times. During work time I flip the sign to green and during lessons I flip the chart to red. Hope you enjoy!
