This OOPS Card Version can be played in any class but can also be used for ESL classes.

Objective:
The objective of the game "Oops" is to get your teammates to guess a word without using certain pre-defined words or phrases associated with it - these are called "Oopsies"

Gameplay:

1. The clue giver draws a card from the deck, revealing the mystery word and its associated oopsies (taboo words).
2. The clue giver must describe the word without using any of the "oopsies" listed on the card.
3. The clue giver's teammates try to guess the word based on the clues given.
4. The clue giver can use any verbal clues or gestures but must avoid the "oopsies" at all costs.
5. The clue giver's teammates can make as many guesses as they want within a time limit (usually one minute).
6. If a teammate guesses the word correctly, the team earns a point. If the clue giver uses an "oopsie," they forfeit a point.
7. After the time is up or the word is correctly guessed, play passes to the next team.
8. Play continues back and forth until all players have had a turn as the clue giver or a set number of rounds has been completed.
9. The team with the most number of points wins.

Add your own letters, numbers, words or addition, subtraction, multiplication and division equations into the blank spaces to create FUN activity pages! This set has 1 customizable color-by-code crayon design, provided in black and white as well as 7 colored graphics! Once students complete it, they can turn it into a party hat!

While students are practicing sight words and math skills, you are freed to do guided reading, mini lessons or quick assessments. This activity is perfect for centers, morning work, early finishers, substitutes or homework. Plus, who wouldn't want to mix art with important academic skill practice!?

Easy to Assemble!
When coloring is completed, cut out the picture and then apply glue to the “glue here” area. Roll the picture into a cone shape and then overlap the edges so that the glue makes contact with the paper. You can also use tape!

String or pipe cleaners work great when creating the hat! You can tape them from the inside, or create holes with a hole punch to attach them! Feel free to use other craft supplies to dress them up even more! (Like stick on eyes!!)
