This digital html/css card is the perfect way to send your season's greetings or celebrate any occasion! When you hover over it, the card will open to reveal a personalized message tailored to a season or occasion. The card is easy to customize so you can make sure it's exactly what you or your students want to express!

I do this project every semester with my 6th-8th graders and it is their favorite amongst anything else! It's such a big hit and so easy to manipulate since the code is already done. You could easily turn this into a step by step project, but I just give the code to them and let them change, personalize, and get creative! They love it, and so does everyone who receives them!

What you will receive:

You will receive a .txt file (opens with Notepad) with the code for a blank card. All you have to do is save the file, and use it with ANY website or software your students use for coding! Yes- it's as simple as copying and pasting, and the students do the rest! All you have to do is sit back and watch their creativeness prosper.

What you will receive:

You will receive a .txt file (opens with Notepad) with the code for a blank card. There is not a separate CSS file- it is located in the HTML head section. All you have to do is save the file (CTRL+S), and upload it with ANY website or software your students use for coding (we use CodeHS)! Students will use the template to write about what they are thankful for. Students will answer each question, cut out the pictures, glue them on some festive fall paper, and make a thankful book to share. Students can then color each picture template, draw pictures in their thankful book or print out pictures from the internet to add onto what they wrote.

There are 17 thankful questions that students can answer across the Thanksgiving thankful book template.

Students will then be required to choose 10 out of 55 thankful picture cards that show what they are thankful for. Students can cut them out and glue them on I am thankful for... template. Students can also answer questions using pictures for two of the thankful questions.
