SET 4: Two Measure cards in 4/4 time using Quarter Notes, and Quarter Rests.
These flashcards are a great compliment to your resource library! Each set is 1 to 2 measures of a vast variety of rhythms to build sight reading, fluency, and rhythmic skills in the music classroom. The flashcards can be used in both the classroom and private studio setting. They are small enough for you to slip into a binder, or envelop if you are a traveling teacher! You can also slip these under a document camera, or stick them on a music stand for rapid fire reading with your kiddos!
For optimal durability, I recommend printing on heavier paper, cutting each section out, and laminating the cards. Binding is up to you, but you can hole punch and put them on binder rings, or have each set coil bound.

Rainbow Connection Matching Game
By ZS Music Publishing
Just in time for St. Patricks Day, this themed matching game allows your little piano stars to match basic terms and symbols on a rainbow! Students will match the term in the cloud (on the left side) with the symbol on the rainbow (on the right side). Correct matches will show the rainbow connecting the term with the symbol.
There are 4 cards per sheet, but the sheet should be printed whole. Printing instructions are included in the file.

These puzzles are a great way for students to reinforce their understanding of enharmonic pitches.
The object of the game is to match the 3 pitch names with the corresponding key on the piano keys. Each note has its own set of 4 puzzles pieces – 12 sets total. The only exception is GB/Ab, which has two pitch names and two keyboards.
This set maybe printed on white printer paper, but I suggest printing on cardstock and laminating for durability. To make the puzzle pieces look nice on the back, I have included a background on the last page – but this is totally optional. For different level of game play, print out the pieces on 4 different colors of paper, and have the students connect the puzzle by colors.

NoteStackers Level 3 Card Game
By ZS Music Publishing
You need your students to learn their Music Alphabet, and fast, and it needs to be interactive...and you need to integrate technology...whew, that's a lot! You've found a great product that rolls the Music Alphabet into a fun, fast-paced game!
NoteStackers is a new game from ZS Music Publishing where students have to quickly think of how the alphabet moves back and forth. NoteStackers Level 3 is Bass C to Middle C on the grand staff.
Set up is simple: Just print, cut and play! There are 8 cards on a page, with two notes on each page. Each note has a card front and optional card back. Every level also as a different shape on the card incase you purchase and use multiple levels with your students. The card backs contain the level name in color, which you can print in black and white on white paper, or colored paper or card stock. For durability, you can laminate these cards as well. This product is reproducible, so you can make as many copies as you wish.
Playing the game is fun and easy! Players take turns putting down cards in order of the music alphabet. Cards that can be plated should have the same letter, one letter before, or one letter after the letter that’s on the play pile - essentially step down, same note, or step up. (For example, if the card in play is C, players can put down B, C, or D. If the card in play is A, players can put down G, A, or B.) After a player has put down a card, they should draw another, as each player should have five cards during the game.
The game will end either when the draw pile as been depleted, or when the teacher decides time is up. If time is still going and the draw pile has depleted, players can use the play pile as the new draw pile.
