This resource includes 13 self-care circular coping strategy printable cards to support students explore coping and self-care strategies. These strategies are great for teenagers.

Learning about what makes a good friend and what makes a bad friend is an important life skill. We are surrounded by people everyday, but the level of friendship varies from person to person.

This resource includes over 36 cards which includes key characteristics of both good friends and bad friends. These cards allow students to differentiate between what qualities they themselves would like to cultivate and what qualities they would like to look for in a friend themselves.

At the end of the resource are two pages – one which is a box for “Good Friend Qualities” and “Bad Friend Qualities”. Simply cut each card and laminate for longevity. Students will have fun working either individually, in pairs or in groups exploring each of the qualities and characteristics.

There are some blank cards included so that students can write their own cards based on their own experiences of what makes a good friend or bad friend.

These printable cards help students to be able to identify their feelings and emotions. Supporting students to isolate their feelings and emotions and getting them to attribute them to the source can often be very difficult. Sometimes a little bit of extra support is needed to help build emotional literacy and development.

My Feelings and Emotions cards include 24 cards in both colour and 24 cards in black/white outline (great for colouring in!)

Cards include a visual and the written word. The cards include: mischievous, in love, shock, disgusted, jealous, calm, frustrated, courageous, bored, angry, confused, curious, embarrassed, disappointed, excited, grumpy, happy, nervous, proud, sad, scared, shy, silly and surprised.

The great thing about these cards is that they are versatile! You are literally only limited by your imagination. There are 56 cards in total and they support students to cultivate positive self talk, social emotional development as well as a growth and positive mindset.

This resource includes numerous ways to utilize these cards. For example, print each of them out and put the in a jar. At the start of each day get each student to pick one from the jar randomly! They can place that on their desk for the day! You can use these cards on an individual, pair, group or whole class approach. For example as a group, you could choose one and ask the group members one of the following questions… When would have been a time that this affirmation would have been important for you to hear? Why? Who could use this affirmation today? Why? If you could give this affirmation to anyone who would you give it to? Why?

These printable cards help students to be able to identify their feelings and emotions. Supporting students to isolate their feelings and emotions and getting them to attribute them to the source can often be very difficult. Sometimes a little bit of extra support is needed to help build emotional literacy and development.

My Feelings and Emotions cards include 24 cards in both colour and 24 cards in black/white outline (great for colouring in!)
