Gratitude Activities for Preschoolers

By Spark Interest with Sara

Gratitude Activities for Preschoolers

This gratitude activities for preschoolers resource pack includes a read-aloud story and activities which aim to get children talking about gratitude. It is so important to include gratitude activities in our day so that we may begin to see opportunities to be grateful in our everyday.

☀️The objective is for us to recognize the opportunity to practice gratitude and appreciation throughout our day.☀️

✯The gratitude activities included in this pack are:

  1. A PowerPoint Story – this story was written and illustrated with the aim to get the children thinking and identifying ALL we have to be grateful for big and small.

2. Printable Poster: My Grateful Heart. This visual reminder highlights the message of the read-aloud story. Print & place in your classroom.

3**. Drawing Sheet** – to create a “Wall of Gratitude” in your classroom, invite the children to draw what they are grateful for & put them up on the wall.

4. My Grateful Heart Challenge Questions: A trip to the dentist**,** digging in the garden, getting stuck on a puzzle … Everyday situations all give us the opportunity to be grateful.

⭐️ What can we be grateful for in all the situations presented?

3. Printable booklet to create “My Gratitude Book” (6 pages located in a separate file). Each page has a prompt to help guide the creation of our very own gratitude book.

❤️Things about myself I am grateful for …

❤️Friends I am grateful for …

❤️Food I am grateful for …

*Don't Forget To Follow Me! It Will Certainly Make My Day* :)
