Famous Engineers Posters for Elementary Grades

This is a collection of ten single-page posters of famous engineers. Each poster includes a picture of the inventor and a short description of the inventor's contributions written appropriately for the elementary school level. When hung in the classroom these posters can be viewed by the students and referred to throughout the year as different topics arise when teaching the Next Generation Science Standards. Each sheet can also be used as a close read.

This book series is great for children ages 7 - 13, as they can relate with what Claudia, Kristy, Mary Anne, and Stacey are doing. This book discusses problem solving skills, working together as a team, listening to others ideas, being responsible, starting a babysitting business, and being a good friend/sibling. The comprehension questions in this product relate with the text as well as students own experiences. Vocabulary words, their meanings, and example sentences are presented in the packet. Students can also write sentences using the vocabulary words. As the book is being read aloud, as students are reading the book or after the book has been read, students can answer the comprehension questions in this packet. Words that students may need help with spelling when answering comprehension questions are provided in this product as well.
