Are you teaching your students about NOUNS? Are you looking for a NO PREP, fun and effective way to introduce Nouns that name people and animals? I've got you covered! This is perfect for the whole class or small group/intervention!

This resource aligns with HMH INTO READING for Grade 2 and can be used as a supplement to the grammar program! This can be used with other grades as well, especially students who are struggling, SWD or ELLs who need modified instruction.

When teaching about NOUNS, I find that chunking the information makes it much easier for students to understand, especially my SWD & ESL. This keeps the students attention without overwhelming them with too much information as well! (We all know grammar can be difficult to teach and learn!) That is why I created this resource which focuses only on Nouns that name people and animals. In the next lesson, the focus will be on places and things!

This resource includes:

• INTERACTIVE Google Slides Mini-lesson with the "I do, We do, You do" Strategy incorporated into them! Students will be able to come up to the smartboard & circle the correct answer, click and drag, and sort! They will also have a teacher model and an anchor chart to reference!
