Subitizing is the skill of instantly recognizing a quantity without having to count each object. The skill of subitizing aids in students’ number sense development. To play - students will place cards face down on the playing surface. Player one selects two cards, attempting to make a match. If a match is made the player will keep the two cards. Player two continues with their turn. As students play the memory game, encourage students to say something like, “I know this is 9 because I see a group of 5 and a group of 4.” Or “This is 6 because two groups of 3 equal 6.”

This file contains 3 different printable game boards to play the popular math game BUMP. Each board comes in both a color and black & white version.

There is a board for use with 2 dice to practice addition facts to 12

a board for use with the included addition fact cards to practice facts to 10

a board for use with 1 die to practice numeral recognition to 6

My students love playing these games, and I love that they are developing fact fluency while having fun.

**Please feel free to send the pdf file to families so they can print at home while school buildings are closed.**

I use these differentiated games during centers and for early finishers. Simply print the boards and laminate, or slip into sheet protectors, for an easy to make math game. I like to print on cardstock for increased durability.

Even and Odd Pizza Party gives students a fun, hands-on opportunity to practice sorting even and odd numbers. Students place numbered toppings on the correct pizzas. Assemble this center by printing, cutting and laminating the pieces. This file contains: - one "EVEN PIZZA" - one "ODD PIZZA" - 30 topping cards featuring an assortment of single and double digit numbers - a bonus worksheet for extra even and odd sorting practice ** If you'd like students to be able to check their own work, simply add stickers to the back of the pieces before laminating. Use one color/sticker for the "even pizza" and all even toppings and another color for the odd pieces.

This product is a digital puzzle that requires students to complete 50 basic addition fact fluency problems. The link to the digital puzzle is on a clickable PDF that you would download once purchased. Students will put the answers in the answer box. This activity is no prep and is self checking.
