Once students learn the difference, classroom interruptions are minimized, the important information is reported, and students understand how to recognize information that is important to tell adults.\x3Cp>During this game, students learn the difference between tattling and telling/reporting in an interactive and fun way. In the end, students will be able to recognize when they are tattling and when they are reporting important information that an adult needs to know.\x3Cp>\x3Cstrong>Included in this Download:\x3C/strong>\x3Cul>\x3Cli>Three Explanation Pages\x3Cli>Teacher Game boards (3 designs)\x3Cli>Monster Game boards (3 designs)\x3Cli>81 Tattle or Tell Situation Cards\x3C/ul>\x3Cp>Print and laminate the three explanation pages, teacher and monster game board, and all 81 situation cards. Students will love playing this game and learning the difference between tattling and reporting.\x3Cp>Students will be challenged to ask themselves:\x3Cul>\x3Cli>Is this my business?\x3Cli>Is someone in danger or hurting?\x3Cli>Was something done on purpose to harm me?\x3Cli>Is this something I cannot handle on my own?\x3Cli>Is this important information that an adult has to know?\x3C/ul>\x3Cp>In the end, students will have a clear understanding of what information the teacher needs to know! Silly scenarios, adventure and disaster, problem solving, and learning, are all part of the experience when building these challenges.\x3C/p>\x3Cp>Most building challenge task cards are independent from each other. “Build a boat,” or “build an airplane,” are common themes among the cards. ⭐ This is Set #1. You can purchase the Bundle of 90 days, all 3 available sets, for 20% off here: BUNDLE of 90 Days STEAM | STEM Silly Challenge Task Cards Distance Learning
Distance Learning Compatible: This product can be downloaded as a printable PDF or copied into Google Slides. This will allow you to send the product to your students as an editable document. Download as a PowerPoint to upload to Microsoft Teams.
What’s included in the 21 page PDF download, as well as the 38 Google Slides:
Google Slides
************************************************************
How can you use these task cards?
Have the task cards available in makerspaces, centers, tubs, busy boxes, morning baskets, or available for early finishers to complete using ANY available materials. Students can even draw their creations instead of building them!
Use one card a day during morning time. Have students fill out a STEAM / STEM worksheet or discuss and use the Google Slides as a class.
Use them for public speaking practice. Allow students to build and then show and tell with the class or their parents. They can discuss what they made, liked, what they would improve, and how it solved the problem on the task cards. They can practice speaking and listening skills, using loud and clear voices, and giving full attention to the speaker. Encourage students to ask questions to their classmates.
Ideally the goal is to do one challenge a day, but you could certainly allow students to do more than one.
**********************************************************
Why do I think you will love this product, and what makes my challenge set unique?
I love silly stories that bring humor and adventure to life for kids, but also that force them to use their imaginations in fun and exciting ways. This challenge task set does exactly that through the loose wacky stories where they are the main character. Silly scenarios, adventure and disaster, problem solving, and learning, are all part of the experience when building these challenges.
Most building challenge task cards are independent from each other. “Build a boat,” or “build an airplane,” are common themes among the cards. While those are fantastic, and we have done many of them ourselves, I wanted to do something different and more cohesive and engaging for kids.
The only rule is to HAVE FUN and allow those imaginations to soar!
**Please note that while the intent is for these to be independent, early readers may need some assistance in reading the cards.**
**This is not an editable document.**

Teach about Teasing & Anti-Bullying Activities Google Slides™ Digital Resources
By Mrs Bell The Crafty Counselor
There is a difference between teasing that is meant to hurt feelings and teasing that is meant to be playful and fun. Help students differentiate between situations where teasing is meant in good fun, and where the teasing crosses the line and becomes hurtful, or even bullying, with these digital tease monster activities! Teach about teasing to minimize tattling, help students identify bully-like behaviors, and improve relationship-building skills.
This fun bullying vs. teasing activity helps students to understand that not everyone reacts or feels the same way in each situation. Scenarios that would not hurt one person’s feelings, may hurt a classmate deeply. It is important for students to realize the impact their actions and words can have on others.
This engaging Google Slides activity will have students conversing about and identifying the differences between friendly and mean teases. Students will gain a deeper understanding of how not all situations, or teasing behaviors, affect us the same.
Included is a Google Slides™ Activity Containing:
Use this digital Google Slides activity to help students to define teasing, recognize what makes a tease friendly or mean, understand the difference between teasing vs. bullying, as well as realize how powerful their words can be.
This activity can be used as a book companion lesson for Tease Monsters by Julia Cook or can be used as a stand-alone activity. The purchase of Tease Monsters by Julia Cook is not necessary to utilize this resource.
Please open the preview for more details and images!

Why do I think you will love this product, and what makes my challenge set unique?
I love silly stories that bring humor and adventure to life for kids, but that also force them to use their imaginations in fun and exciting ways. This challenge task set does exactly that through the loose wacky stories where they are the main character. Silly scenarios, adventure and disaster, problem solving, and learning, are all part of the experience when completing these challenges.
----------------------------------------------------------------
The only rule is to HAVE FUN and allow those imaginations to soar!
**Please note that early learners may need some assistance from parents or teachers in reading the challenges.**

Painting Art: Line Movement. Fall/Autumn.
By Art Shack by JB
This creative Line Movement Painting Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to draw 5-10 lines with different movements. After drawing these lines, students outlined them with a crayon. Students painted each section with a different color of watercolor paints. This assignment is an excellent opportunity for students to get better with their painting skills. Students are responsible for two separate artworks for this assignment. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.
Tattling or Reporting - Tattle or Tell Game & Activities for Elementary School
By Mrs Bell The Crafty Counselor
It is vital that we teach our young elementary-aged students the difference between tattling vs reporting. Once students learn the difference, classroom interruptions are minimized, the important information is reported, and students understand how to recognize information that is important to tell adults.
During this game, students learn the difference between tattling and telling/reporting in an interactive and fun way. In the end, students will be able to recognize when they are tattling and when they are reporting important information that an adult needs to know.
Included in this Download:
Print and laminate the three explanation pages, teacher and monster game board, and all 81 situation cards. Cut the situation cards apart and place them upside down in a pile. One at a time, students pick and read a card out loud. They then can use the three explanation posters to decide if this situation is a tattle or tell. Students will love playing this game and learning the difference between tattling and reporting.
Students will be challenged to ask themselves:
In the end, students will have a clear understanding of what information the teacher needs to know! Empower your students to learn the difference between tattling vs reporting with this printable resource!
