⭐Have the task cards available alongside STEM and STEAM bins, makerspaces, centers, tubs, busy boxes, morning baskets, or available for early finishers to complete using any available materials. Students can even draw their creations instead of building them!

⭐Use one card a day during morning time. Have students fill out the STEAM / STEM worksheet with some of the challenges that require more problem solving and creativity.

⭐Use them for public speaking practice. Allow students to build as many cards as predetermined, followed by show and tell with the class, or their families. Shape Matching File Folder

Game - Rainbow

Themed:

This is a great file folder game for your students. There’s two pages of each set of shapes. Print one out, laminate it, and attach it to the file folder. Cut out the second page of rainbow shapes (the pages with a border around each separate rainbow) and laminate them as well.

The sides that are meant for the file folder part have circles on the front where you can attach velcro dots to the activity and then attach velcro dots to the opposite side of the rainbow cards to make it easier for students to match the correct shapes together.

File Folder Shape & Color Matching Game

This is a great file folder game for your students. It’s a great way for your students to not only practice matching shapes together but colors as well!

Print, laminate and attach the #2 pages of spaceships with shapes on them to a file folder. Then cut out and laminate the planets with the border around each one.

Once everything is laminated attach a velcro dot on the front of each shape spaceship attached to the file folder and then attach velcro dots to the opposite side of the planet shape cards.

Decompose Numbers~Students will love sorting apples into baskets as they learn different ways to decompose numbers. It aligns with Common Core K.OA.3. This fall themed activity makes a terrific math center or it can be used during RTI.

This hands on activity comes with four different recording sheets to decompose numbers up to ten. You will receive two baskets of each number to decompose numbers 3-10. You will also receive 20 apples. (ten red, ten green)
