You will be able to use this template for multiple quizzes in multiple subjects - all you have to do is change the questions and change the answer key.

Here is what you'll get in this 10-page document:

• Participation Self-Evaluation Worksheets: The first two handouts will invite students to reflect on how well they are listening, thinking, speaking, asking questions, and using evidence. These editable handouts can be used as a student self-evaluation worksheet; or they can be used by the teacher to provide feedback and grades on students' participation. (2 pages)

• Formulating Questions Handout: This handout provides students with advice about how to formulate effective questions. Whether your class is about to embark on a series of student led-discussions, or your class is about to write papers about topics of their choosing, this handout will help them to formulate genuine interpretive questions that are grounded in concrete textual evidence. • Discussion Role-Playing Exercise: Challenge your students to develop their discussion skills by assigning each student a particular role to play during a discussion.
