French Bible Lesson - Israël se plaint mais Dieu les sauve, Nombres 20-21
By Cheryl Bennett
This resource gives you everything you need to teach Numbers 20 and 21 and to help students to remember. The lesson focuses on the Israelites complaining, Moses striking the rock in disobedience to God, the snakes that bite them and God's salvation from the punishment He sends. Since the lesson is in French, it is a great resource for French speakers as well as students learning French.
I have included more than one past tense. This is great for students at a novice high, approximately.
This lesson includes:
Why should I choose this resource?
1. The story comes from Scripture but is summarized for young learners. The Word of God is not compromised in the process.
2. Reading, speaking, and writing activities are all included.
3. Color and BW versions!
4. Easy to understand directions throughout the slide when in edit mode.
5. Colorful and engaging pictures to help tell the story for pre-readers or early readers.
6. Writing - includes a rubric for ACTFL
7. Use of passé composé, imparfait and plus-que-parfait as well as one use of conditional past
8. Frequently used vocabulary as well as new words to challenge them.
9. Can actually be used for different grade levels. It's more a matter of the level of French of the student and not the grade.
10. Can be used for novice high to intermediate mid students
