Do your Spanish students need some help with interpersonal speaking?  Are they struggling to have conversations in Spanish?  Let’s give them some guided support with these partner conversations that will help them along!  Both students will have the opportunity to ask and answer questions as part of a conversation, but with a lot of scaffolding to build confidence.

There are 32 guided conversations (8 different themes) in this bundle, so both students will have a chance to ask and answer questions in a conversational way.  Many are differentiated between Novice and Intermediate Level Speakers.

It’s a perfect way to practice and assess your students’ knowledge of the preterite and imperfect tenses in Spanish.

This file includes two versions of each story:

• Version A has the verbs already conjugated, and the students must choose between the preterite and imperfect tenses of the verb.
• Version A also includes true/false comprehension questions and students must correct the false statements.
• Version B includes only the infinitive, so they must first decide which tense to use and then fill in the blank with the correct form of the verb.
• Version B also includes comprehension questions to be answered in complete sentences in Spanish.

Each story is 2-3 pages long. An answer key for both versions of each story is included in the download. The two different versions make differentiation simple!

Each story includes:

• a mini pictorial vocab list in color and black & white
• a mini-PowerPoint (great for pre-teaching key vocabulary)
• a blank six-box storyboard (great for students to illustrate their comprehension of the story)
